This is the GameCube dumping guide for dumping with a Nintendo GameCube console. This is an alternate method to the recommended Dumping with a Wii Console Guide.
For dumping beta discs (GameCube NR) see Nintendo GameCube and Wii Dumping Guide with a PC.
Please review the important guidelines outlined in this forum thread regarding submission of both new discs and verifications: Redump Submissions
Tools
- A soft- or hard-modded GameCube
- SD Card with at least 1.5GB free
- CleanRip GC (v2.3.1)
- or Swiss (Not recommended as a dumping tool, fine as method to boot CleanRip)
Method 1 (CleanRip)
- Describe how to boot Swiss and load CleanRip
Method 2 (Swiss)
- Redump will only accept Swiss dumps with proof of being dumped multiple times with matching hashes. It's been reported that Swiss dumping can result in silent errors being unreported.
- Describe how to boot Swiss and dump discs with it without CleanRip
